Kenangan Coffee (or Kopi Kenangan), is one of the fastest growing grab-and-go coffee chains in Indonesia.

Kenangan means “memories”, and the coffee chain’s culture is built around serving “from the heart”, emphasising authenticity and warmth from their Indonesian heritage.

When the Indonesian brand first expanded to Singapore, Zeno Singapore was chosen to handle PR and communications relating to it’s launch, and also their social media content on a retainer basis.

Here are a few of my favourite pieces of work done over the course of the retainer.

Unexpected Love

This is one of my (and I daresay my team’s) absolute favourite piece we’ve done for Kenangan Coffee (KC).

Originally conceived to just tease KC’s new Jewel outlet using a TikTok trend at the time, we managed to capture an candid moment from a couple that completely enhanced the framing of the shot.

Although the shot was simple and coincidental, I think this short few seconds were so in-line with KC’s message of being authentic and from the heart, that when I think of the work we did for them, the memory of this moment floats to the top.

Kenangan Coffee is now in Singapore!

Official Launch

Kenangan Coffee’s first Singapore outlet launched in Raffles City Shopping Centre.

The brand was already popular in Indonesia (as Kopi Kenangan), so it’s expansion to Singapore was highly anticipated, especially amongst Indonesians working in Singapore.

On its first day of operations in September, Kenangan Coffee at Raffles City Shopping Centre sold more than 1,500 drinks.

We documented the launch on social with a simple highlight reel.
